How to draw Cartoons

Any one can Draw Cartoon

When i was small, I was so much interested in Drawing. I use to feel amazed looking at the cartoons and sketches in news papers and magazines.  I literally use to feel so surprised, how people draw so nicely.  I use to ask myself, whether i can become an artist when i become big.  Those were past, today i can confidently say that i can draw, paint, sketch.

How to draw cartoons

Do you have a doubt whether you can become an Cartoonist. If so let me ask you three questions.

  • Can you draw a line?
  • Can you draw a circle?
  • Can you draw a curve?

If the answer to these three question is yes, then yes in future you can become a cartoonist.

Rest all will come by practice.

In the following courses, you will find lot of cartoons, try to practice every piece atleast few times, so that you can get the fluency. You should also remember that, if you already have a particular style, dont try to change it.  Continue in your style. Every individual have their own style of drawing. This course is only a guide to develop and motivate.

The courses i have designed is to train anyone who want to draw and create cartoon characters.  All they want is only the urge to learn and patience.  To learn any art you need time and patience and practice. Please do not rush through the lessons, these lessons are going to remain here, and so do not rush through the lessons.

Be patient, go through every lessons one by one.  Practice daily. Practicing daily for half an hour to one hour is better than practicing once a week for 6 hours.

Keep your eyes and ears open.  If you are seriously thinking of becoming a great cartoonist in life, you should start seeing all sketches and drawings in magazines.  I dont remember how many number of cartoons and sketches i have drew before came to this stage.  Today we have lot of cartoon channels, and we have opportunity of googling on internet where we can really find lot of stuffs.

You should also remember that cartooning is not mearly drawing pictures in a funny way.  You should also start looking things in a funny way.  You should really visualise things in a much exagerrated manner. Start looking at things in a different way. Draw, enjoy have fun. Show your sketches, cartoons to your friends and family members. Show to your teachers, share your fun with others.

Never ever get disheartened because of a critic from anyone.  You should also learn to take things in a very positive way.  Every criticism in Art should be taken in a constructive way.  You should try to improve, draw better, and better and best. By extensive practice, patience one day you too can become a famous cartoonist.
